SAP S/4HANA P2P Solution Architect – Manufacturing (Automotive | Japan Deployment and Global Templates)​

​15+ years of experience with SAP and a strong background in SAP S/4HANA transformation​Previous experience in a Tier 1/Global Consulting environment preferred​
Role and Purpose​The SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect will lead the rollout across Japan and strengthen global templates for large-scale manufacturing programs.​The role focuses on solution architecture, template governance, localization design and driving build execution through the development team.​
Core Specialties  ​End-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture​Experience in implementing and supporting projects. In-depth knowledge in the following areas:​Business Process, Implementation Methodology, Consumables Procurement Process, Import Procurement, Source of Supply Determination, Demand Flow, STO, Automatic A/C Determination, Automatic PO Conversion, Price Management, Output Determination, Batch Management, Third Party Subcontracting, A/C Entry for Document Posting, Serialization, Consignment, Pipeline, Invoice Planning, Automatic PO Procedure, Valuation Receipt Settlement, Knowledge related to EDI Order/Delivery/Confirmation/Invoice/Material Master, Data Migration by LSMW/BDC​Configure and optimize SAP S/4HANA P2P modules (MM, Procurement, AP) for automotive-specific scenarios​Troubleshooting between SAP and third-party systems​Define and manage interface patterns (IDocs, API/OData, EDI, Flat File, CPI/PI/PO), including error handling, monitoring and performance tuning.​Create detailed configuration documentation, process flows, test scripts and knowledge articles.​You should have experience writing functional specifications, coordinating with ABAP team and testing new features. Experience with SAP MM, EWM integration with third party tools is a must​Strong architectural leadership across core value streams
​Primary Responsibilities​ Lead solution discovery for Japan deployment, standard compliance workshops, architecture design​We will introduce a unique P2P architecture, enhanced global templates, and Japanese localization to ensure alignment with our core design principles.​Act as design authority, approving solution deviations and ensuring governance compliance​Define and manage the integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP systems (MES, PMC, legacy, third-party tools).​Provide clear solution direction and drive build execution through implementation teams​Collaborate with Japanese business stakeholders, global process owners and IT leadership​Guide your team through the blueprint, build, test, cutover and go-live phases of your rollout program​Ensure compliance with Japanese business processes, statutory, audit and control requirements
​Industry experience​Required:
Large scale manufacturing/automotive industry experience.​Leverage your strengths:​discrete manufacturing​Supply Chain and Production Planning​Quality, logistics and cost control​Experience with Japanese manufacturing standards and practices is a major advantage​
